ps. Louis would have sent you his best wishes but he said something like "I'm not a f**king hypocrite, mother" and turned away, the painful memory of rejection etched across his faithful features.
PPS. Just got back from the football but now feeling better for two reasons - I've been given a copy of Commando: Battle of Britain Special, and just flicked through all these photos. What a brilliant laugh we've had over the years and lots of battles won too. Proud to have such friends. Cheers mate, Posh Tim.
Wish we could be there to share good times. We will raise a bottle of cheap nasty cider in your honour and find our shortest gay sailor shorts to celebrate in true Bolam style. Your DJ skills would go down a storm in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly in NZ as it is still 1982 here. Seeing those photos brings back some brilliant memories, times that will never be forgotten and will haunt us in flashbacks for years to come. We trust you have celebrated in an age appropriate fashion and therefore not required a week off work to recover this time. Here's to another 40 years (if you're lucky). Lots of love Andy and Cath xx
